JOHN MICHAEL HENNESSY (Age 65)

On Wednesday, April 22, 2015, of Damascus Md. Beloved husband of Teri Hennessy; father of Michael Patrick Hennessy; Brother of Tom Hennessy (Sandy), Mary Francis Hennessy, the late Sharon Hennessy; Uncle of Sean Adams; Son of the late John W. Hennessy & Mary A. Fitch: Son in Law of Bob and Ruth Wolpert; Cousin of the McClellans; and step brother to the Fitch's and the Harbaugh's. His greatest wish was for his final resting place to be at Arlington National Cemetery (where we would go to visit his dad and many relatives). We were able to make his wish come true. The date is yet to be determined with an Irish Wake to coincide. He was known for helping all of the people he knew and many people he did not know. We all know he had amazing skills in building or fixing anything, and was always the one to call on first. John had such a gentle soul and he always seemed to attract kids and animals (or critters as John called them) like a magnet. We have always been amazed at his patience in all we asked of him. John served in the military and had a deep love for the country and servicemen, and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
